Victoria Beckham and Katy Perry are Guest Judges in American Idol Season 9

With the departure of Paula Abdul in American Idol, the producers decided to have guest judges while thinking of a permanent solution for the Paula’s absence.

For the audition phase of American Idol Season 9, ex-Spice Girl Victoria Beckham and Katy Perry will be guest judges. The regular judges such as Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara Dio Guardi will still be there. The show will continue to have this kind of set up until January.

There are rumors that Paula Abdul is being offered by ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ to become a judge.
