Venezuelan Stefania Fernandez Wins Miss Universe 2009

Stefania Fernandez of Venezuela was crowned Miss Universe at the recently concluded 58th Miss Universe Pageant held at Atlantis Resort Paradise, Bahamas.

This is the first time in a row that representatives from Venezuela have won the Miss Universe Pageant. Last year, it was Dayana Mendoza, who was from Venezuela also, took home the crown.

Here are the finalists:

First Runner Up: Ada Aimee De la Cruz (Dominican Republic)
Second Runner Up: Gona Dragusha (Kosovo)
Third Runner Up: Rachael Finch (Australia)
Fourth Runner Up: Mayra Matos Perez (Puerto Rico)
