American Idol bid good bye to Michael Sarver last week in what has been the highest turnout of votes in American Idol for the Top 10. Yet, with all of 36 million votes comprising that week’s total, it seems the viewers skimped out on giving Sarver any love.

In the first elimination this season, American Idol bid goodbye to Jasmine Murray and Jorge Nunez. The double elimination was for the the Michael Jackson Week, where each of the Top 13 Finalists performed a song from the King Of Pop’s song book the previous night on a brand new American Idol stage.

Tonight, in what may be considered the best group among the hopefuls, batch 3 of the American Idol Top 36 battle it out for a spot in the Top 12. Each of the contestants chose songs from The Billboard Top 100. Starting off tonight’s round of performances was Missouri native Von Smith.
