Mikey Arroyo Denies Buying Liquor During Typhoon Ondoy

Presidential son Mikey Arroyo denied the allegations of him buying liquor during Typhoon Ondoy. Last Sept 27, there was a photo of him that was uploaded in Facebook showing him buying liquor in Rustan’s Supermarket in Katipunan. It was captioned that he was buying liquor during the height of the typhoon. With this, many people thought that it was insensitive of him because while other people are suffering from the flood, he was just out buying booze.

Mikey said that it was impossible for him to go to Rustan’s because at that time, Katipunan was already submerged with floodwaters. He was in Malacanang at that time. Because of this, Mikey would like to make a law to regulate Facebook and bloggers.
