Karen Davila Accused of Plagiarizing Writer’s Book
ABS-CBN broadcaster Karen Davila is being accused by a writer/blogger of plagiarizing her book in the Cory Aquino documentary aired in ABS-CBN. The documentary “Laban ni Cory”, according to Angela Stuart-Santiago, contained paragraphs lifted from her book “Himagsikan sa EDSA, Walang Himala!”. She expressed her ranting through her blog www.stuartsantiago.com.
She said that the words that were uttered by Karen Davila seemed so familiar and then she realized that it was literally lifted from her book. Researchers might have forgotten to give attribution to her work during the credits on the show when there were other sources that were used for the show that were attributed.
