Jacque Bermejo Becomes an Internet Celebrity But Not In A Good Way
Jacque Bermejo, an ordinary OFW working in Dubai, is now an internet celebrity because of her Facebook status which says: buti n lng am hir in dubai! maybe so many sinners bak der! so yeah deserving wat hapend!
Because of that statement, a lot of online users expressed their disgust against this person because of her alleged insensitivity in the situation of the typhoon victims. Social networking websites under her name were flooded with negative comments.
Last night, she finally showed up and was interviewed by TV Patrol Middle East. She denied that she was the one who posted that Facebook status. According to her, her Facebook was hacked 8 months ago and even reported this to Dubai police. She said that someone created a Facebook account using identity who had the motive of destroying her reputation.
Pokwang, one of the leading comediennes in the Philippines, expressed her disgust with Jacque through her Twitter even though she already aired her side of the story.
