Jackie Rice Is Maxim’s Cover Girl For July
Jackie Rice is the cover girl of Maxim Philippines’ July issue. This issue is also their third anniversary special. The baby-faced actress has indeed grown up, donning a black, backless, one-piece swimsuit on the cover. The cover shows Rice sitting by the poolside, covering her breasts, and exposing her legs.
She joins her fellow Starstruck alums Kristine Reyes, Iwa Moto, and Katrina Halili, all of whom have graced the covers of a sexy men’s magazine.
Jackie Rice used to be a relatively unknown model, until she made it onto the GMA-7 reality talent search Starstruck back in 2006. She was part of Season 3, and emerged as the Ultimate Female survivor. She lost the title of Sole survivor to the late Marky Cielo.
Fresh from her win, fans were optimistic about her star soaring high. But rumors, bad press, and a very unprofessional work ethic, according to some, were the reasons why her career was halted. It wasn’t soon after her win that she was suspended by her home network.
