Imelda The Musical to be Shown in NY

Imelda Marcos is not only a Philippine icon but she has gained popularity in the international media.

The musical will be set at the Julia Miles Theater on 55th Street in Manhattan from September 22-October 18. The musical will focus on Imelda Marcos during the 1940-1980′s. This will be the first Filipino-themed musical in New York.

Producer of the musical is Pan Asian Reportory Theatre. Jaygee Macapugay will portray Imelda marcos, Liz Casasola as Cory Aquino, Mel Sagrado Maghuyop as Ferdinant Marcos and Brian Jose as Ninoy Aquino.
