Danica Magpantay is the Ford Supermodel of the World 2011

Danica Magpantay recenently bagged the 2011 Ford Supermodel of the World title.

The newest Filipina Supermodel was announced the winner of the prestigious title in New York last Saturday. The Pinay Supermodel received a $250,000 modeling contract with Ford Models.

Magpantay is the daughter of Milagros “Lala” Flores – a Supermodel of the World Philippines 1990 winner. Ford Models Supermodel of the World is the largest and most prestigious international modeling competition. Aspiring models from more than 40 countries join the annual competition.

The contest, which was established by Eileen Ford in 1980, aims to discover new models for the international fashion industry.
