Angelina Jolie Beats Brad Pitt’s Ex-Wife As Hollywood’s Top Earning Actress

Angelina Jolie is the latest Hollywood’s top earning actress according to Forbes.com. For the  past year, Angelina Jolie earned $27 million beating Brad Pitt’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston who earned $25 million. The bulk of Jolie’s income last year came from her film “Wanted” and an upfront payment from a  film that she’s doing right now which is “Salt”.

On the other hand, Jennifer Aniston’s income last year came from the reruns of her hit TV series “Friends” and films like “Marley and Me” and “The Baster” which is still being filmed. Aside from that, she also receives a hefty paycheck from Glaceau’s SmartWater.

Other actresses who made it to the top 5 were Meryll Streep ($24 million), Sarah Jessica Parker ($23 million) and Cameron Diaz hits the 5th spot ($20 milllion).
