Adam Yauch of Beastie Boys Has Cancer

One of the members of Beastie Boys, Adam Yauch, was diagnosed with cancer according to his rep. The doctor saw that there was a tumor on his left salivary gland. The good news is that the cancer was still on its beginning stage so it hasn’t spread Adam’s body. At this time, it is still curable and Adam would just have to undergo additional treatment for the next several weeks.

The upcoming shows of Beastie Boys were cancelled due to this incident.
