ABS-CBN Gets 2 Emmy Nominations

ABS-CBN bagged 2 nominations at the 2009 Emmy Awards for the oustanding performance of Angel Locsin in the teleserye “Lobo” and the outstanding drama series “Kahit Isang Saglit” which stars Jericho Rosales and Malaysia model-actress Carmen Soo.

Angel is the only Filipina to be nominated in the acting category. She will be competing with actresses from France, Mexico and United Kingdom.

On the other hand, “Kahit Isang Saglit” will be competing against telenovelas made in India and France.

The winners will be announced on November 23, in New York.
