“Twilight” star Robert Pattinson is being comforted by singer friend Katy Perry after girlfriend Kristen Stewart cheated on him with director Rupert Sanders.
The 26-year-old actor, who has moved out of the Los Angeles home he shared with his co-star and girlfriend, supported Perry when she went through her own split with comedian Russell Brand, 37, last year, reported Daily Star online.
Another source quoted by People magazine said Pattinson was “heartbroken and angry” after finding out about Kristen Stewart’s affair and said: “I’m not sure they’ll be able to recover from this.”
Kristen Stewart, 22, released a public apology last Jul 25, 2012 where she said “Rob” was the most important thing in her life.

Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler just announced that he will no longer be part of American Idol Season 12 after a two-year stint.
“After some long … hard … thoughts … I’ve decided it’s time for me to let go of my mistress American Idol before she boils my rabbit,” he said in a statement (and a reference to the film Fatal Attraction) released by Fox.
“I strayed from my first love, Aerosmith, and I’m back — but instead of begging on my hands and knees, I’ve got two fists in the air and I’m kicking the door open with my band.”
This season has the lowest ratings compare to last years record. This year, Ratings were down 23% last season, to 20 million viewers for Wednesday performance shows.
And for the first time since 2003, American Idol lost its crown as TV’s most watched show to NBC’s Sunday Night Football.
Auditions for American Idol Season 12, which is set to launch in January 2013, are already underway.

The health condition of the country’s comedy king Rodolfo “Dolphy” V. Quizon Sr. continues to improve but remains under close monitoring at the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Makati Medical Center (MMC).
In medical bulletin released on Monday, Dolphy has been responding well to treatment as doctors slowly weaning off his medication
However, Dolphy’s kidney continues to perform below its normal capacity. He will continue to have dialysis while his platelet count remains low, the blood transfusion also still continues, the bulletin said.
He was given some rest over the weekend to be able to recuperate. Blood transfusion and dialysis will resume on Monday.
